The Mystical cave
In this cave, you will enter another "dimension" – you will see mythical creatures, symbols, strange lights. The artist will tell you about her life in the cave, the origin of ideas, and their realization. You will forget that you are in Tenerife! But we won't say another word, because words don't help here. You have to see it to believe it!

Caves of Guanches
Did you know that Tenerife's indigenous people, the Guanches, used natural volcanic caves as their homes? Many caves contain ceramic remains, tools, bones, and other items that help to understand their way of life. We offer unique tours to the Guanche caves, even with the possibility of overnight stays and special workshops.

Tour Eastern Circle 1
About this tour
Eastern Circle I - option "a" Eastern Circle I - option "b" We start from your accommodation (usually Las Americas) and drive to the island's capital via the southern highway. The first point of interest on the way is in the small town of Santa Lucia, which is hidden by the ocean in a large cave - a grotto. Next, we go to Candelaria, where there is the largest church on the island with the image of the Black Madonna. Here is the religious center of the Canary Islands. Along the edge of a large square (which is in front of the church) by the ocean, there are large monuments to nine Guanche kings (mencey's).
After visiting Candelaria, we go to Santa Cruz - the capital of the island. We stop at the famous Auditorio concert hall, get acquainted with it and go to the main square of the capital - the Spanish Square. All the most important administrative institutions of the island are concentrated here, a huge monument to the Holy Cross. Then we drive to San Andres, to the beach with golden sand Las Terezitas (which was specially brought from the Sahara desert). If the weather permits, you can swim here and enjoy the world a bit. We can snack on the snacks we took with us.
Through the town of San Andres we go to the mountains of Anaga and reach the famous mirador Cruz del Carmen, around which, on all sides, the relict forest of laurel and heather trees grows. Laurel and heather trees here reach a height of up to 5 m. Let's take a short walk through this prehistoric forest. Why prehistoric? The last Ice Age, which covered all of Europe 12,000 years ago with a kilometer-thick layer of ice and reached Africa, did not reach the Canary Islands. Therefore, the forest has been preserved here, as it was in Europe before the Ice Age.
Option "a" next, past La Laguna, bypassing the northern airport, we go to La Esperanza. We drive through the majestic Canarian pine forest to the eucalyptus groves - here we stop briefly and take a short walk. And at the end of the excursion, we drive home along the Southern highway. Option "b" Chinamada is a small village located on a hillside on the north coast of the island of Tenerife, away from the major cities. The secret of Chinamada's popularity is the 30 houses in the caves where the people of this village live.
The originality of the settlement is given by the location of the buildings carved into the rocks. At the same time, the inhabited area does not lack the advantages of modern civilization, and these caves are electrified, connected to water supply and television. The settlement has its own hotel and restaurant. Next, through La Laguna, we take the Southern Highway home. We return home.
Duration
The planned duration of the excursion is about 8 hours.

Route Unknown Tenerife 1
About this tour
“Unknown Tenerife 1” We start the trip from your accommodation (usually from Playa de las Americas) and go up into the mountains towards Valle de San Lorenzo, then turn onto the road that goes to Jama, but miss the turn to Jama, and after 200 meters we stop at Barranco de la Fuente. If you want, you can go for a walk to the abandoned village of Cosa Alto. Here the caves were adapted for wine storage. Next we go to the mirador Centinella - one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Tenerife. It is also called the place from where you can see the seven former volcanoes.
Passing through San Miguel and Las Chafiras, we get towards Los Abrigos. Next, our path passes La Tejita beach, the largest wild beach in Tenerife. The length of the beach is almost 2 km, the width reaches 300 meters. On this beach, free virtue reigns - some vacationers sunbathe, swim, play ball, and walk along the ocean completely naked. The only major drawback of this beach is the almost constant strong wind, and there is also a large coastal wave.
The beach is bordered from the north-eastern side by the famous mountain Montaña Roja, which is the first thing vacationers see when they arrive at the South Airport. When we reach the "fork" in the road, we drive to the left, and we will stop on the edge of the southern airport. Here is the famous cave church of Saint Brother Pedro, who is the first canonized saint in the Canary Islands.
Brother Pedro lived a solitary life of piety in this cave, near El Medano, and later emigrated to Guatemala and founded there the first Bethlehemist religious order in the New World. continue along the southern highway - we go to Fasnia. After turning from the highway, an original monument has been created.
After leaving Fasnia in the direction of El Escobonal, about a kilometer later, a beautiful bridge over the Erke gorge opens up to our eyes (the gorge is famous for Guanche burial caves, it is also called the gorge with the caves of thousands of mummies - unfortunately, they have long since been removed from there), there is a tunnel at the end of the bridge, which separates two municipalities: Fasnia and Güímar. Our road continues to the city of Guimaras, where we can stop for a while and take a short walk through the old town.
If you like you can visit (entrance fee 25 euros) a mini-botanical garden with artificially formed, low-rise buildings called "Pyramids of Guimaras". are moving towards the house. After leaving Guimaras, we can visit the finca (country house) managed by our former compatriot Victoria - Finca Canarias Aloe Vera, where she and her family own an Aloe Vera plantation. They will show you and tell you in Russian about all the properties and importance of this plant, as well as demonstrate their natural products factory. It is worth seeing with your own eyes! The event is free! And let's go home.
On the way, we can turn to Playa del Espigón, and drive along the highway along the old seaside highway to Santa Lucia - a town hidden in a large cave - a grotto
Duration
The planned duration of the excursion is about 8 hours.

Route Unknown Tenerife 2
About this tour
"Unknown Tenerife 2” We start the trip from your accommodation (usually Playa de las Americas) and explore the unseen sights of the island: 1) the city in the cave of Santa Lucia - the existence of which is unknown even to many islanders; 2) the proud villa complex shrouded in legends of the grandson of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco (from 1939 until his death in 1975). A steep hill in the middle - a gorge on one side, and surrounded on three sides by a three-meter-high wall with barbed wire on top + fragments of glass bottle necks twisted into a string with wire.
A winding asphalted road leads to the villa, at the beginning of which there is a gate with a warning inscription: "Only with written permission of the police". 3) Varadero - walking steeply down the road next to the wall, we discover a hidden pearl - a town on the coast of the ocean. Its architecture is reminiscent of towns on the coast of the Adriatic Sea: narrow (1m wide !!!) winding steep streets and townspeople who know each other.
4) the red cave Cueva Roja - (Guanchu victim) at the very top of the capital Santa Cruz; for an additional fee (20 euros) a) Galeria de Fajana - walk to the pumping station of La Gordejuela - a peculiar monument of industrial architecture that stands (as if floating) on the edge of a cliff above the ocean, in a place where there was once a powerful waterfall. Or b) Paisaje Protegido de Rambla de Castro - a nature reserve on the other side of the island with a coastal path, trees, historic buildings and ocean views.
It is a protected natural area – a complex scenically valuable and ecologically sensitive complex-enclave that coexists with an excellent Canary Islands palm forest (Phoenix canariensis), specimens of the "dragon tree" (Dracaena draco), diverse plants, reptiles and birds. 5) Los Silos, a uniquely gorgeous city with an old town on the oceanfront, with a promenade that winds along the oceanfront, with gorgeous lava pools at the southern end of the coast.

Route Unknown Tenerife 3
About this tour
We start the trip from your accommodation (usually from Playa de las Americas) and we will see the sights of the island that have not been seen before: the town of Varadero - walking steeply down the road that winds next to the wall, we discover a hidden gem - a town on the ocean. Its architecture resembles towns on the coast of the Adriatic Sea: narrow (1m wide !!!) winding steep streets and townspeople who know each other; Santa Cruz from a bird's eye view - view from the mirador at the guancha sacrifice cave; Red Cave above Santa Cruz (Guanche sacraficial cave);
A fantastic view of the north-west coast of the island from the viewpoint by the road in the mountains; A wonderful park on the very edge of hundreds of meters of steep ocean shore; You will feel the majesty of the ocean while walking along the path along rocks, grottoes, natural lava pools - the bravest can swim here; Monument to the Guanche leader Tinguaro. On May 31, 1494, a Spanish army of more than 1,000 soldiers had arrived at the Acentejo gorge. Tinguaro's warriors met the Spanish vanguard in a gorge, but his brother sprung a trap with the main Guanche force.
In a narrow gorge, the Spanish cavalry proved powerless. The Guanchi hit the enemy with stones and spears. In this battle, the Spanish lost 90% of their troops. It was indeed a happy day for the Guanches. The Tinguaro monument is said to bring good luck. You just need to touch the spear. You don't even have to imagine the election, but the overall success rate increases.
Attention! Only the spear should be touched; Next stop - El Montillo park with cascades of waterfalls, a uniquely beautiful park located on a hillside in the town of La Matanzas.
Duration
The planned duration of the excursion is about 8 hours.

Tour Western Circle 2
About this tour
Route - Western Circle II We start from your place of residence, we go West to the Teno hill, along the "steepest" serpentine on the island - the road from Santiago del Teide, along the Maska gorge, there are stunning views - this canyon is considered to be the second most beautiful in the world after Grand Canyon USA. Historical evidence shows that at one time this village was inhabited by pirates (the Spaniards, after the colonization of the Canary Islands, could not exterminate this settlement for about 100 years, and the asphalted road was built there only 50 years ago).
After Maska, we go to Cape Punto Teno - the southernmost point of the island along the serpentine road, where the movie "Fast and Furious 6" was filmed (the big tour buses do not go here). On one side of the road there is a steep cliff, several hundred meters high, and on the other side - an abyss of several hundred meters - at the very bottom is the ocean. We stop at the Punto Teno lighthouse and capture truly unique and fascinating views. Those, who are brave, can dive into the roughest waters of the Atlantic Ocean off Tenerife.
Unfortunately, from 2019 On April 15, a decision was made to close the road to private transport now on all days of the week from 9-10 am (depending on the season until 6-7 pm). During this time, a bus runs from Buenovista del Norte (and back from Punta Teno). The only possibility - if we enter there before 9-10, except from Friday to Monday (respectively from Tuesday to Thursday). offer you to enter Los Silos - mirador. Charco Los Chochos - a natural lava pool, you can swim here. To see a skeleton of a gigantic whale.
Next, we go to the city of Garachico, which 300 years ago was almost swallowed by lava from the erupting volcano Teide. There we can swim in the natural lava pools and have lunch (either in the restaurant or takeaway). The next stop is Icod de los Vinos, and we stop at the oldest dragon tree in the Canary Islands (Drago milanario), which is shrouded in legends and stories. Then, along the mountain serpentine, we ascend the serpentine on the northern slope of the Teide and descend to Santiago del Teide.
From there we go to the right, towards Los Gigantes - huge steep cliffs at a height of 500-700 meters, and they enter the ocean just as deep. Nearby is the resort of Puerto Santiago - the black sand beach of La Arena (which is included in the UNESCO natural heritage list, as the beach with the blackest sand in the world). Т We return home.

Route - Ghost Gorge
About this tour
Route - Ghost Gorge The gorge of Barranco de Badajoz is famous for its natural beauty as well as hundreds of mysterious events! Almost everyone in the neighborhood has heard of at least one of the many paranormal occurrences. There is no scientific evidence for everything that happens there, but a huge amount of eyewitness testimony shows that the events are not pure fiction.
UFOs, white beings, strange glows, these are just some of the stories. "The girl who went for pears." Perhaps the strangest and most fascinating case is the story of the "Pear Girl", who, according to legend, went to pick pears in the gorge, and returned not at the right time, but much later, when no one expected it. This story can be attributed to 1890-1910. After the girl's disappearance, volunteers combed the area for several days, but no trace of the missing girl was found.
The girl returned home after several decades, when no one expected it, although it had only been a few hours, because outwardly she had not changed at all. version told by the girl is as follows: she went to get some fruit at her parents' request, and fell asleep under a pear tree, after which she was awakened by a tall white being. The creature did not cause fear in the girl, so she accepted its invitation to follow him without protest. The girl followed the creature to one of the caves with a ladder that they descended. There was a garden where they met several more tall beings in white robes.
The girl stayed with them for a few minutes, then her companion led her up to the entrance of the cave and said goodbye to her. "White beings". Legend has it that in 1912, two mine workers were doing their usual work in one of the flooded galleries located in the ravine, more precisely, on the one that goes into the depths of the ravine. At this moment, the wall they were working on collapsed, revealing a wide gallery from which tall, boot-clad beings, quite unlike the miners, approached the workers. Legend has it that the workers contacted creatures who showed them where to dig to get water. "Winged Creatures".
On the night of July 1, 1991, a group of adventurers went to Barranco de Badajoz. Descending into the hollow, the people heard a strange noise above their heads, similar to the flapping of wings. Almost reflexively, one of the members of the expedition, a photographer by profession, started taking pictures, even though it was dark and nothing could be seen. The result is one of the most mysterious photographs ever taken in the gorge... We return home Excursions take place in small groups, up to 4 or 6 people in a group. At the bottom of the page there are descriptions of hiking trails with pictures.
